Why should I get my gutters cleaned?

Your gutters are designed to drain the water from you roof way from your house and foundation.  Full gutters and clogged downspouts can lead to roof and gutter damage or leaky basements.

How often should I get my gutters cleaned?

Most homeowners should get their gutters cleaned twice a year.  Once obviously after the leaves fall and once again in the spring after bud and seeds have fallen.  It takes a relatively small amount of debris to cover or clog a downspout.

Is it messy?

There is no getting around the fact that what is in your gutters, especially if it is wet, is messy.  We take the utmost care to make as little mess as possible and clean up any mess that might come from cleaning the gutters.  We also always take any debris that we get out of you gutters with us so that you don't have to deal with it after we are gone. Should I get gutter screens?

We do not recommend gutter screens.  Eventually every gutter screen that we come across will allow small leaves, needles, and seed through.  The result is that the downspouts still get covered and the gutters still need to be cleaned.  Because of the additional labor involved with removing, cleaning and reinstalling the screens, it is quite a bit more costly.  Specialized gutters that seem to work have been advertised nationally, however they are very expensive.  Some customers have received estimates that would take 20 years of gutter cleaning to break even.

Do I need to be home for service?

No.  Most customers aren't.  If you are not at time of service we will leave an invoice that can paid by check or credit card.

Can the weather affect my service date?

Yes.  Heavy rain or overnight temperatures below freezing can cause a service date to be postponed.  In the event of this we will attempt to reach you BEFORE your scheduled time/date to make other arrangements.

Do I need to provide any equipment?

No.  We have all necessary equipment for the job.

What happens to all of the debris from the gutters?

We bag it and take it with us.

Is Gutters Cleaned Cheap insured in case of accidents?

Yes!! We carry full insurance in case of this happening.  We can also provide "Certificates of Insurance" if needed.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, personal check, Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
